Executive Secretary
As established in Article 7 of Decree 662 of 2010 of the Ministry of Finance, the Advisory Committee of the National Reconstruction Fund shall elect a chair and a secretary from among its members.
On March 23, the Minister of Finance appointed Trinidad Undurraga V. as Executive Secretary of the Reconstruction Fund. She holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de Chile and a Master’s in Strategic Communication from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI). She has also studied non-profit management and strategic communication at Georgetown University. Between 2014 and 2017, she was the Chief Advisor at Sernac, serving as strategic advisor to the national director during her final year in the role. She previously worked for the Municipality of Peñalolén as the Human Resources Manager.
In the private sector, she held various positions at Fundación Educación 2020 for more than four years, where she worked closely with the business sector to raise funds and execute projects.
The duties of the Executive Secretary are key, since the office must coordinate the work of Committee; convene its meetings; keep and update the minute book; and organize or commission specialized public or private technical bodies to carry out the necessary studies, projects and research to fulfill the Committee’s advisory functions.
The Secretary may also coordinate the formation of subcommittees or special working groups and may request specialized consulting services as needed, taking into account the budgetary resources of the Ministry of Finance.
In addition, the Executive Secretary will coordinate the donation interests of the private sector regarding reconstruction.
